Aviation Construction Site Manager

They are currently growing out a dedicated Aviation department that will specialize in projects across the commercial, federal, and private airport sectors and apply the most cutting-edge technology and structures.
Job Description
- Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field staff on a job site
- Maintain project safety in accordance with company's safety policy
- Develop and update the project schedule, resource allocation, and work processes
- Prepare two-week look ahead schedules
- Oversee daily construction activities ensuring work meets quality standards, project timelines, and budgets
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify and address quality issues, and ensure work meets project specifications
- Identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively to maintain project momentum and project schedule
- Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors
- Maintain strong communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate the work of the subcontractors' field staff
- Maintain accurate cost reports
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed, accurate, and timely
- Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures
- Provide opportunities to help the team develop, learn, and grow
- Nationwide travel required for this role

The Successful Applicant
- Experience:
- 8+ years of Project Superintendent experience required
- Commercial construction experience working for a general contractor (GC) is required
- Experience leading, developing, and mentoring a team
- Experience with Aviation or Mission Critical project types is desired
- Skills:
- Ability to read/interpret construction documents
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Excellent project organizational skills
- Impressive leadership skills with the desire to teach, mentor, and develop a team
- Business acumen and relationship building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization
