Traveling Superintendent
A growing and highly respected commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up big box construction projects throughout the Southeast and across key national markets. With a diverse portfolio spanning retail, industrial, distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, mixed-use, and commercial developments, the company has established itself as a trusted builder for repeat clients and nationally recognized brands. Job Description
- Manage all field operations for ground-up construction projects
- Lead project execution from site mobilization through final turnover
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestone achievement
- Enforce safety standards and quality control procedures
- Conduct regular site meetings and maintain project documentation
- Identify and resolve field challenges proactively
- Partner closely with Project Managers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintain a professional presence with clients and project teams

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Proven experience with ground-up big box projects
- Experience in sectors such as:
- Big Box Retail
- Distribution Centers
- Warehouses
- Light Industrial
- Large Commercial Facilities
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and site logistics
- Experience managing projects valued at $20M+
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to travel based on project needs
