Ground-Up Big-Box Retail SuperintendentManage day-to-day onsite operations for ground-up big-box retail builds. Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, and project sequencing. Enforce safety standards, quality expectations, and compliance requirements. Review and interpret drawings, site plans, and construction documents. Track project progress, maintain daily reporting, and support schedule adherence. Communicate regularly with project managers, owners, and inspectors. Lead site meetings and ensure all trades meet project milestones. Oversee inspections, punch lists, and overall site closeout. They should have a strong ability to manage high-speed, high-volume retail construction schedules. They should be skilled in coordinating multiple trades in a fast-paced environment. They should have excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. They should be able to read and interpret detailed construction drawings. They should have a strong safety mindset and experience enforcing jobsite compliance. They should be willing to travel full-time (long-term assignments).
