Traveling Superintendent
Job Description
Lead on-site construction activities for federal projects, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor project schedules and budgets, addressing any issues or delays promptly. Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed on-site. Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards and address potential challenges proactively. Communicate progress and updates to project managers and clients as required. Resolve on-site conflicts and provide solutions to maintain project momentum. Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation and reports.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Traveling Superintendent should have: Experience with federal construction projects and knowledge of related regulations. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to manage on-site teams effectively. Ability to travel frequently and adapt to different project locations. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications. Commitment to maintaining safety standards and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
