Traveling Superintendent

Job Description
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise all site activities
- Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to project schedules
- Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Monitor construction quality and jobsite safety
- Conduct weekly toolbox talks and enforce OSHA standards
- Coordinate inspections with local authorities
- Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and as-built drawings
- Track project progress and communicate updates to Project Management
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and site logistics
- Identify and resolve construction challenges proactively
- Manage punch list completion and project closeout
- Build positive relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors
- Support successful project turnover and owner occupancy

The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience
- Experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Willingness and ability to travel to project locations
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
