Traveling Superintendent

Our client is a well-established commercial construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering ground up retail, hospitality, multifamily, and commercial projects across the Southeast. This Superintendent opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of projects from mobilization through closeout while working for a financially stable organization that rewards performance and provides clear career progression.
Lead all onsite construction operations from project startup through final closeout. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and daily field activities. Maintain project schedules and drive milestone completion. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Coordinate inspections, quality control processes, and punch list completion. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, clients, and design teams. Monitor project progress, resolve field issues, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
A successful Traveling Superintendent should have: proven experience leading commercial construction projects from start to finish. Strong background in ground up retail, convenience store, banking, medical office, hospitality, or similar commercial projects. Demonstrated ability to discuss project leadership responsibilities, team structure, and project lifecycle involvement in detail. Experience managing subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality, and safety. Ability to travel throughout the Southeast as project demands require. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with construction management technology and scheduling software. Candidates currently based within Georgia strongly preferred.
Base salary: $120,000 - $140,000. Performance-based project bonuses. Company-provided housing while traveling. Daily per diem allowance. Vehicle allowance plus mileage reimbursement.
