Traveling Superintendent

A rare travel opportunity for a Superintendent who wants the adventure of nationwide projects without sacrificing stability, consistency, and time at home.

I’m partnered with a highly respected Pittsburgh based commercial contractor that has built a strong reputation over the last 20+ years. Due to continued growth and the award of a 10 year warehouse tenant improvement program, they are looking to add an experienced Traveling Superintendent to their growing team.

Unlike many travel positions where you’re gone indefinitely, this opportunity offers a structured schedule with predictable project timelines. Projects typically run 3 to 6 months, and you can expect to be home every 2 to 4 weeks. When projects are between phases, you’ll have the ability to work alongside the team in the Pittsburgh office while preparing for the next assignment.

The Opportunity:

• Lead nationwide warehouse tenant improvement projects

• Manage fast paced commercial renovations and buildouts

• Oversee projects ranging from $2M to $3M

• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, site logistics, safety, and quality

• Be the boots on the ground leader driving successful project execution

Ideal Background:

• Commercial Construction Superintendent experience

• Experience with warehouse TI, industrial projects, retail buildouts, or commercial renovations

• Strong ability to manage subcontractors and field operations

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills

• Comfortable traveling nationwide
