Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion. This role involves setting up and closing out construction sites, studying specifications and drawings, planning work-flows, assisting in the development of project schedules, and ensuring proper permits are secured.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
• Set up and close out construction sites efficiently.
• Study specifications and drawings to plan work-flows based on starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
• Assist in the development of project schedules.
• Manage the schedule of activities and tasks on the construction site.
• Coordinate various phases of construction to meet deadlines.
• Ensure proper permits are secured.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in construction and construction management.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong skills in subcontractor management.
• Experience in commercial construction and general contracting.
• Proficiency with Procore and OSHA 30 standards.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver"s license with the ability to use own vehicle to drive to the job site and evidence of insurability.
• OSHA 30 certification is highly preferred.

Work Environment

This position requires 100% travel. Lodging needs are covered while on a project away from home, along with daily meal allowances and mileage reimbursement for travel over 60 miles one way. The role allows for travel home every two weekends if the job schedule permits.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lake Elmo, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

We pay for your lodging needs (while on a project away from home) Daily meal Per-Diem (while on a project away from home) Mileage reimbursement (while on a project away from home and at least 60 miles one way) Travel home every 2 weekends if job schedule allows
