Traveling Superintendent

The Traveling Superintendent will report to Regional Operations Leadership and be responsible for managing field operations on large-scale mechanical construction projects. The successful Traveling Superintendent will serve as the primary site leader, ensuring project execution aligns with client expectations, safety standards, and company objectives.

• Lead all day-to-day field operations for mechanical construction projects.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, craft labor, and project teams to maintain schedule and productivity goals.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage installation activities involving HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
• Monitor project schedules, manpower planning, and site logistics to drive successful project delivery.
• Conduct site meetings, progress reporting, and workforce development activities while promoting a positive team culture.

For the Traveling Superintendent - Mechanical Construction we are seeking:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or Lead Field Supervisor within mechanical construction.
• Strong background overseeing HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems installation.
• Experience managing large commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, mission-critical, or institutional construction projects.
• Ability to travel extensively and oversee projects in multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, safety management, and quality control processes.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, labor forces, and multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling platforms such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
