Traveling Multifamily Superintendent

Our client is a well-established General Contractor with more than 30 years of success delivering high-quality ground-up multifamily construction projects throughout Texas. They are seeking a Traveling Multifamily Superintendent to lead field operations and drive projects from site development through final turnover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day field operations for ground-up multifamily construction projects

  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality control, and site logistics

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, ownership groups, architects, and inspectors throughout all project phases

  • Conduct site meetings, maintain project documentation, and proactively resolve field challenges

  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in alignment with company standards and client expectations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor focused on multifamily construction

  • Proven experience managing ground-up apartment projects from start to finish

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Texas based on project needs

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, inspections, and safety compliance

  • Demonstrated leadership ability managing subcontractors and maintaining project momentum in fast-paced environments

Preferred Background

  • Texas-based candidates strongly preferred

  • Experience working for mid-sized General Contractors

  • Proficiency with construction management software and field reporting tools

  • Stable work history with successful multifamily project delivery experience
