A nationally recognized real estate development and construction firm is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead large-scale, ground-up multifamily projects across the United States. Description
As a Traveling Superintendent, you will report into senior construction leadership and oversee the full lifecycle of multifamily developments from ground-up through completion.
- Lead all on-site construction activities across multifamily projects
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to ensure timely delivery
- Drive safety, quality, and compliance standards across all phases of construction
- Oversee project milestones tied to schedule, cost, and performance targets
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers and internal teams
- Utilize Procore and other tools to manage reporting and documentation
- Maintain consistent site leadership across nationally located projects
Profile
For the Traveling Superintendent role, we are seeking:
- 10+ years of construction experience OR a 4-year degree in Construction or a related field
- Proven track record managing at least 2 full-cycle ground-up multifamily projects
- Experience with garden-style or podium construction preferred
- Strong proficiency in Procore (required); MS Project/Bluebeam a plus
- Ability to travel nationally on a full-time basis
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Job Offer
- Base salary: $130,000 - $170,000
- Performance-based bonuses tied to safety, schedule, and financial milestones
- $800/month vehicle allowance + gas covered (company card)
- Comprehensive per diem package (housing, meals, travel)
