Our client is looking for a Traveling Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Southern Virginia. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys fast-paced projects, thrives in a team environment, and has experience managing ground-up retail, grocery, or big-box developments.

Description
- Supervise construction projects across NC, SC, and VA, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations on all job sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans.
- Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders as required.
- Manage on-site logistics, including materials and equipment handling.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports and project records.
Profile
A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Lead Superintendent
- Ground-up experience with big box, grocery, retail, industrial, or commercial projects
- Experience on Chick-fil-A, Walmart, Publix, or similar projects is highly preferred
- Willing to travel Monday-Friday throughout NC, SC, and Southern VA
- Team-oriented, proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic
Job Offer
Up to $130,000 base salary
