Description

The Traveling Superintendent - QSR/Retail -Southeast Travel will be responsible for:

• Lead all on-site construction activities for retail and QSR projects throughout the Southeast.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and daily field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Monitor project schedules and proactively resolve field challenges to maintain progress.
• Conduct site meetings and coordinate effectively with project managers, clients, and trade partners.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.
• Oversee quality control efforts to ensure work meets contract specifications and client expectations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication throughout the construction process.
• Travel extensively throughout the Southeast to support assigned projects.

Profile

The successful Traveling Superintendent - QSR/Retail -Southeast Travel will have the following experience:

• • Proven experience as a Superintendent on retail and/or QSR construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and field operations.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southeast for project assignments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality execution.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced construction environments.

Job Offer

The Traveling Superintendent - QSR/Retail -Southeast Travel will receive:

• • Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $90,000-$130,000

Requirements 5+ years of construction Project Manager experience with a general contractor is required Experience on ground-up education, healthcare, and/or commercial construction projects is required Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree preferred Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level Local to Charlotte preferred, though relocators will be considered
