Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you’ll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• AHA BLS and ARDMS RDMS required at submission
• 3+ years of experience
• Proficiency with general ultrasound, small parts, vascular studies including lower and upper extremity venous, OBGYN including fetal survey and 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester exams, and pediatrics including hips, spine, head, pylorus, and intussusception
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Experience performing ultrasound in radiology
• Ability to work with all ages

Assignment Details

• Specific schedule: 36 hours initially, then 24-hour shifts
• Shift days: Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday
• Floating required to other sites
• Inpatient and outpatient coverage
