Our client, a leading investment firm, is seeking a Treasury Data Analyst & AI Developer to join their team in El Segundo, CA or New York, NY!
A technically strong junior consultant to sit closer to the data — mining, organizing, and mapping Treasury datasets, and building working prototypes using Claude. This person will work hand-in-hand with the senior product lead to move from design to prototype quickly, and will be expected to independently operate within Snowflake and demonstrate real Claude/AI development capability.
Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on data mining and analysis across Treasury datasets in Snowflake.
• Build and document source-to-target data mappings.
• Develop working prototypes using Claude to demonstrate automation potential.
• Support the senior lead in validating data availability, structure, and quality across upstream sources.
• Translate business logic into structured data models and hand off clean specs to engineering.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with data modeling, data extraction, and SQL/Snowflake this will be tested.
• Demonstrated experience building with Claude or similar AI tools ability to prototype and build, not just prompt.
• Financial services background a plus; comfort with financial data structures required.
• Strong analytical instincts able to work independently, go deep, and surface clean answers.
• Excel modeling or prior finance data experience as a foundation is acceptable if AI skills are strong.
• Proactive, self-directed work style this team does not hand-hold.

Pay Rate: $45 - $65/hr
