Purpose:

The purpose of the Treasury Operations Assistant is to provide reliable transactional and administrative support across two functions. Approximately half of the role supports the treasury department by processing payments, entering bank activity for reconciliations, and retrieving daily banking documentation. The remaining half supports home office operations by managing mail, answering calls, organizing records, and completing general administrative assignments. By doing so, the Treasury Operations Assistant helps support the company's mission of providing quality care and services to residents.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Process select outgoing payments in accordance with established controls and approval workflows
  • Perform data entry to support bank reconciliations, including coding and posting of daily bank activity
  • Download, organize, and file daily bank confirmations, statements, and supporting documentation
  • Assist with maintaining accurate cash records across multiple bank accounts and communities
  • Support the treasury team with recurring transactions, filing, and ad hoc reporting requests
  • Sort, distribute, and scan incoming mail for the home office and remote workforce
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Organize, purge, and digitize historical files and records
  • Coordinate ad hoc office needs such as ordering meals and supplies
  • Provide general administrative support and complete other assignments as requested

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of administrative, accounting support, or office experience
  • Experience in senior housing or treasury operations preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with Yardi or AvidXchange preferred
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities across two functions
