The Treasury Services Manager is responsible for leading multiple Treasury Services operational teams, ensuring the efficient execution of critical financial processes while maintaining strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service. This role oversees the daily operations of Reporting, Billing, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Unclaimed Property, and other Treasury functions, with potential oversight of Adjustments as the department continues to evolve.

This position partners closely with senior leadership to develop operational strategies, improve efficiencies, implement automation, and build high-performing teams that support CorVel's financial objectives. The ideal candidate is a proven people leader with the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable while successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Treasury Services and is an in-office position based in our Milwaukie, OR office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Lead and develop multiple Treasury Services operational teams, including Reporting, Billing, EFT, Unclaimed Property, and additional functions as assigned
  • Provide direct leadership to managers, supervisors and individual contributors by coaching, mentoring, developing talent, and driving accountability
  • Establish departmental goals, performance expectations, and measurable operational metrics
  • Partner with department leadership to identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and operational efficiencies
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and year-end Treasury functions
  • Oversee treasury controls, financial reporting processes, and operational procedures while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage relationships with banking partners, customers, and internal business partners
  • Lead internal and external audit requests and ensure appropriate documentation and compliance
  • Review and approve treasury transactions within established authority limits
  • Analyze operational performance and provide recommendations to executive leadership
  • Collaborate across Accounting, Finance, Claims, Information Technology, and other departments to support strategic initiatives and organizational growth
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and exceptional customer service
  • Perform additional duties and lead special projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multiple teams and developing future leaders
  • Strong operational management and organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Strong understanding of treasury/accounting operations, financial controls, and risk management
  • Experience implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lead through change while maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office application.

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location.  Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors:  federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions.  Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.  The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range:  $87,190 – $134,613

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of direct management experience leading supervisors and/or multiple teams
  • Demonstrated experience developing employees, driving accountability, and building high-performing teams
  • Experience leading operational improvements, automation initiatives, or large-scale process improvements is strongly preferred
  • Experience working in highly regulated or service-driven environments is preferred
  • Treasury experience preferred
