Treating Engineer Helper (3rd Shift)

We are seeking a Treating Engineer Helper for our tie treating plant in Winslow, IN.

The ideal candidate will be trained on day shift (6:30am-2:30pm) until training requirements are met. After training, the position will rotate to 12-hour night shift. The starting wage for this position is $26.38 per hour.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Treating Engineer Helper: primary function is to assist in the handling, manufacture, and processing of lumber and round stock. Operating power tools and equipment as directed.

Shift Details

• 12-hour shifts on 3rd from 8pm-8am
• Schedule Details: Rotating weekly schedule with every other Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off.

Principal Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of Inspector, Machine Operator 2, and Laborer positions as required. • Operate material handling equipment. • Perform inventory counts. • Assist in loading of railroad cars, trucks, and trams. • Cleanup of yard processing systems or other areas as required. • Assist as helper in other duties as may be assigned. • Change treatment charges. • Identify and inspect materials for conformance, inspect binders and cables, move and store charges. • Participate and contribute to company safety program. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
