JOB DESCRIPTION OF A TREATMENT COORDINATOR

• Clinical Efficiency & Support: Demonstrates proactive chairside assistance by consistently anticipating doctor needs, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring seamless instrument hand-offs to maximize workflow.

• Radiographic & Diagnostic Excellence: Captures high-quality, diagnostic radiographs and iTero scans within time standards, ensuring all clinical images are clear, aligned correctly in imaging software, and in correct format with tooth numbering.

• Accurate notation and coding: Accurately completes notes by end of appointment with correct codes walked out for procedures completed.

• Patient Experience & Rapport: Delivers a welcoming and professional patient experience by offering the comfort menu, keeping the patient informed of treatment progress and giving quality post-op instructions.

• Scheduling Strategy & Production: Actively manages the schedule to maximize doctor production, identifying and filling gaps, and proactively offering same-day treatment when available.

• Team Communication & Handoffs: Maintains seamless collaboration through consistent, high-trust handoffs between the clinical team, Care Coordinators, and the Front Desk to ensure continuity of care.

• Operational Preparation (Huddles & Lab): Demonstrates thorough daily preparation by participating in morning huddles, reviewing production goals, and ensuring all lab cases are ready and properly processed.

• Clinical Infection Control: Adheres strictly to sterilization and safety protocols. Keeps clinical areas stocked and prepared.

• Utilizes Expanded Functions Properly: Manages specialized tasks like temporary crowns or nitrous monitoring with precision.

• Flex Position: Stays engaged and productive in this position. Helps assist other team members when needed.
