Qualifications
- Ability to obtain licensing based on industry experience and work with CTE Director on licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain an Advisory Committee and submit reports as needed by school and cooperative administration.
- Provide students with valid standards/skills based curriculum and training that is aligned to NLPS, leading to the opportunity for relevant certifications.
- Maintain and follow all students IEPs, Behavioral Plans, 504 Plans according to the information provided by the teacher of record.
- Understand the student handbook and follow protocols and policies of the school.
- Perform other duties as directed by the administration.
- Understand and follow all emergency procedures and protocols for their school building.
- Keep track of all equipment, tools, technology, etc and complete inventory as required.
- Keep all records applicable to the Workplace Specialist License.
- Seek approval for program purchases by the CTE Director and Superintendent/Corporation Treasurer.
- Have an enthusiasm for Career and Technical Education.
- Have a sincere desire to help and work with students.
- Be able to assist students in making viable, realistic career decisions.
- Work on developing partnerships with local business and industry for student experiences.
- Observe and evaluate student performance and skill development.
