Triage Clinician - Weekends: 1st Shift
We have a great opportunity to join our mobile crisis intervention team in Milford! You will be able to work in a supportive small team atmosphere while also working as part of a larger organization that is a leader within the mental health care industry.
The Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) program provides crisis and behavioral health assessment, intervention, and stabilization services 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and365 days per year (24/7/365) for individuals who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis.The mission of MCI is to respond rapidly, assess effectively, and deliver a course of treatment intended to promote recovery, ensure safety, and stabilize the crisis in a manner that allows the person served to receive medically necessary services in the community, or if medically necessary, in an inpatient or 24-hour diversionary level of care.
The Triage Clinician – MCI works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, certified peer specialists, familypartnersand recovery coaches, to provide core services including crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, and post-stabilization.
This roleplays an integral role in the daily operations of the Community Behavioral Health Center’s (CBHC) Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI)component.
