Amaze Health is revolutionizing the healthcare landscape by empowering patients to take control of their healthcare journeys. Our mission is to simplify access to high-quality medical care while enhancing the patient experience. As a Triage Nurse, you will be at the forefront of this mission, providing critical support and assessment to our patients in a timely and effective manner.

As a Triage Nurse, you will serve as a critical first point of clinical contact for patients, using your experience and judgment to assess symptoms, determine acuity, and guide patients to the appropriate level of care. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced clinical environment, is confident making real‑time decisions, and values meaningful, in‑person patient interaction.

This is a fully in‑office position and requires strong assessment skills and the ability to collaborate closely with care teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial patient assessments to evaluate severity of conditions and advise on appropriate care methods
  • Deliver effective communication with patients and their families regarding symptoms and treatment options
  • Document patient interactions accurately to ensure effective follow-up and continuity of care
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient health outcomes
  • Educate patients about disease management and preventive health measures
  • Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize medical inquiries and facilitate patient placement
  • Ensure a patient-centered experience at all points of contact

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent, in‑person nursing experience
  • Prior experience in triage, urgent care, emergency department, or other high‑acuity outpatient or inpatient settings
  • Demonstrated ability to perform rapid clinical assessments and make sound, independent decisions
  • Strong prioritization and critical‑thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and compassionate in time‑sensitive or high‑pressure situations

Salary range: $75,000 - $100,0000 based on experience.

Benefits

Amaze provides an extensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with paid time off and a 401(k) plan.
