A well-established litigation firm in Rockville Centre, NY is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney with extensive experience defending complex construction accident and personal injury matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background handling New York Labor Law §§ 240(1) and 241(6) cases and be comfortable taking matters through all stages of litigation, including trial.

Job Details

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar of New York.
3. A minimum of 5 year of experience as a defense attorney, specifically within the construction industry.
4. Knowledge of Labor Law 240 and 241.
5. Proven experience in construction defense is ideal
6. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and standards.
7. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively within a team.
10. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
