We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Trial Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled, confident, and ambitious professional to drive the litigation process from start to finish. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator with a proven track record in general liability cases, and extensive trial experience. You will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload, providing expert legal advice, and representing our clients in court. If you are a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all phases of litigation from inception to post-trial, including drafting pleadings, discovery, pre-trial motions, and trial preparation.
2. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments.
3. Conduct thorough legal research and fact-finding investigations to support case strategy and preparation.
4. Negotiate settlements in the best interest of our clients.
5. Collaborate with legal staff and clients to gather information, communicate case progress, and strategize on case handling.
6. Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal practices through continuing education and professional development activities.
7. Adhere to all professional ethical standards, demonstrating respect for the law, clients, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a trial attorney with 5 jury trials under their belt, specifically handling general liability cases.
4. Proven track record of representing clients in court, with a strong success rate.
5. Extensive knowledge of litigation process and laws related to general liability.
6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal strategies to clients and colleagues.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
8. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
