A well-respected, confidential plaintiff-side litigation firm is actively seeking an attorney to join its Philadelphia, PA office. The firm is nationally recognized for representing individuals with serious injuries in high-stakes litigation — work that is both professionally challenging and genuinely impactful.
This position is an outstanding fit for attorneys with experience in personal injury, catastrophic injury, toxic tort, mass tort, products liability, workers' compensation, or any plaintiff-focused civil litigation. Core Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a diverse caseload of plaintiff-side litigation matters, guiding each case from intake through resolution.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients dealing with serious and life-altering medical or injury situations, providing clear, compassionate communication throughout.
- Prepare and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and litigation-related correspondence with accuracy and on deadline.
- Take and defend depositions; appear at hearings, oral arguments, and trial proceedings.
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and litigation staff to build effective case strategies.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date case files and utilize case management software to track deadlines and tasks.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing (required).
- Demonstrated litigation experience with strong writing, research, and courtroom skills.
- Experience managing multiple active matters with competing deadlines.
- Prior plaintiff-side practice experience — personal injury, toxic tort, mass tort, or related field preferred.
- Deposition experience strongly preferred; trial experience a plus.
- High level of empathy and professionalism when working with injured clients.
