The team provides advanced trial presentation, multimedia, and audiovisual support to attorneys and practice groups across a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Our client is seeking a highly skilled Trial Technology/Litigation Support Specialist to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$50k - $60k

Position Overview:
The Trial Technology/Litigation Support Specialist will support courtroom presentations and litigation-related technology needs. This role combines technical AV expertise, multimedia design, and real-time trial support, ensuring seamless presentation delivery in high-pressure legal environments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly technical, client-service focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-stakes situations, including trials, hearings, and client presentations.

Responsibilities of the Trial Technology/Litigation Support Specialist:
  • The Trial Technology/Litigation Support Specialist will provide courtroom/hot seat operation support during trials, arbitrations, mediations, hearings, and client meetings.
  • Create and design graphics and presentations, including charts, floor plans, and site plans, using tools such as PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Set up, test, and troubleshoot computer and AV equipment in courtrooms, conference rooms, off-site locations, and virtual environments.
  • The Trial Technology/Litigation Support Specialist will configure, manage, maintain, and support video conferencing systems and AV equipment.
  • Record, convert, and edit videos; create video clips, DVDs, menus, and custom labels.
  • Convert images and documents into required formats for presentation and litigation support.
  • Design and develop interactive, user-friendly multimedia training solutions.
  • Test and provide recommendations on trial presentation software, AV tools, and graphic designs for case-related projects and events.
  • Stay current on developments in litigation support technology, AV hardware/software, and trial presentation tools through research, user groups, and training.
  • The Trial Technology/Litigation Support Specialist will collaborate with IT and litigation support teams to resolve technical issues and share best practices.
  • Support additional projects and assignments as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Trial Technology/Litigation Support Specialist:
  • 3 - 4 years of experience in multimedia, litigation support, or AV production (legal environment preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with trial presentation software (e.g., TrialDirector, OnCue).
  • Familiarity with multimedia audio/video formats and production workflows.
  • Strong teamwork and customer service skills with the ability to interact across all levels of staff.
  • Strong knowledge of digital, print, and video multimedia design.
  • Ability to lift 65+ pounds (e.g., equipment such as printers, computers, AV hardware).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and anticipate project needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and writing skills with a high level of professionalism.
  • Must be highly customer-service oriented.
  • Must be flexible to travel and work overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the case load.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Trial Technology/Litigation Support Specialist:
  • Prior experience in a law firm or litigation support environment is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with iManage/FileSite document management systems is a plus.
  • Experience designing and developing multimedia training content.
Education Requirements:
  • Technical or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Audio Visual Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent experience is accepted.
