Trim Saw Operator 1st Shift

1st Shift M1 Trim Saw Machine Operator (Cut Department)
Starting Pay: $17.50/hour

Shift Schedule:
Monday Friday, 6:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
Occasional Saturdays, 6:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Operate trim saw equipment to cut and prepare metal parts according to measurements and job specifications
• Set and operate threading machines to cut or form threads on parts
• Perform deburring processes to remove sharp edges and excess material from finished parts
• Conduct basic leak and pressure testing using compressed air equipment
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts while ensuring quality and tolerance standards are met
• Read and follow job travelers and work instructions
• Interpret blueprints and inspect parts using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) as needed (training provided in-house)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/32 "
• Basic computer knowledge preferred
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and willingness to learn multiple processes
