No more than 29 hours per week; within the time periods of Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am to 4pm. Some evening and weekend coverage required as needed.

Provide tutoring for all TRIO Student Support Program Participants at Laurel Ridge Community College Middletown campus. This tutor position is hourly wage and is only allotted to no more than 29 hrs. per week. Tutors work on an as-needed basis; however, all Tutors will have assigned hours to be present for tutoring and will have expected hours of availability for walk-in traffic on campus and drop-in traffic online and for appointment-based tutoring in-person or online. Support TRIO students from diverse backgrounds to improve math confidence, clarity, and academic success. As well as conduct workshops, monitor student participation and engagement, posts announcements, and communicate with students to encourage continued involvement and timely completion of program workshop requirements. As well as provide other duties as assigned.
This position is restricted with funding through August 31, 2026. Funding may be revoked at anytime.
Compensation:
The hourly pay range for this position is $16.26-$21.32, however, actual starting hourly rate will be commensurate with education, credentials, and/or experience. The position is part time and as such cannot exceed 29 hours per week and is not eligible for health or leave benefits.
