This role specializes in Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports, including case management, family engagement, home visits, and coordination with the Regional Office of Education (ROE) and court systems. This position is funded through the TAEOP grant and is accountable for grant-aligned outcomes, documentation, and reporting. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Develope individualized, data-informed intervention plans to re-engage students and support consistent school attendance.6. Oversees an assigned service area or quadrant, supporting students identified with chronic absenteeism or truancy.7. Uses attendance data to triage, prioritize, and group students based on level of need and risk.8. Applies a tiered approach to interventions, balancing direct support for highest-need students with broader strategies to impact larger student groups.9. Implements targeted attendance interventions, including home visits, small group supports, and individualized planning for prioritized students.10. Engages families using restorative, culturally responsive, and relationship-centered practices.11. Provides consultation and guidance so school teams on effective strategies to address attendance barriers.12. Supports compliance with Illinois truancy laws, district policies and required timelines for escalation and intervention.13. Assists in preparing documentation and coordinating referrals related to truancy and court processes.14. Collaborates with the Regional Office of Education (ROE) and other agencies to support required interventions and follow-up.15. Works in partnership with school attendance teams, MTSS teams, and administrators to align intervention efforts within assigned schools.16. Connects students and families to community-based resources and supports access to services.17. Maintains accurate documentation of all student and family contacts, interventions, referrals, and progress updates in the appropriate systems.18. Monitors attendance trends within the assigned service and adjusts strategies accordingly.19. Conducts home visits and family meetings to address barriers, reengage students, and provides wraparound support.20. Provides updates and reports aligned with TAEOP grant requirements, including data collection and outcome tracking. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required and 30 college hours preferred. Experience in education, attendance, social services, or youth support preferred. Experience working with diverse student populations and families preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:1. The Physical Requirements of the Position 1.-Sedentary Work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary Work involves sitting most of the time.
