DescriptionTruck and Inventory Job Role Description

What makes a successful Truck and Inventory Team Member at Chick-fil-A Murfreesboro? Playing an important role by managing truck deliveries, verifying order accuracy, storing and organizing product, and being dependable in the early morning (4am-9am) to set our team up for success each day!

Your Role on Our Team:

Receive Truck deliveries

• Ensure all product that we have been charged for is received
• Ensure all product that we ordered, arrived (even if our store wasn't charged for it, we still ordered it because we need it)
• Verify best buy dates of product received

Inventory

• Organize all shelves and storage areas in the store
• Cut open all use first boxes
• Rotate stock according to best buy date/delivery dates
• Clear shelves of empty boxes and trash/misc items

Store Reporting

• Communicate with leadership when items didn't arrive to spread awareness of possible shortage
• Communicate with leadership when items arrive in poor condition in order to receive credit

Success Profile:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Personalities and attributes that are oriented towards maintaining our culture of being team players, competitive, serving others, owners of our areas and actions, enthusiastic, and optimistic!
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
• Ability to work early mornings and operate efficiently when left alone on tasks (4am-7am)
• Must be available from 4am-7am 5 days per week.
• Must be available Saturdays.

Sunday - Closed

Opening hours (4am-9am) and closing hours (9pm - 10:30pm) are also available to Team Members.
