Schedule/Hours: Full-time; schedule based on donation pickup routes (may include weekdays and occasional weekends)
This position is responsible for:
- Driving a Salvation Army truck to pick up donations and deliver merchandise
- Loading, unloading, and handling donated goods including furniture and appliances
- Maintaining vehicle safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations
- Supporting warehouse and thrift store operations as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates truck along scheduled routes for donation pick-ups and deliveries
- Loads and unloads donations safely, often lifting heavy items
- Maintains accurate donation receipts and mileage logs
- Ensures vehicle maintenance, fueling, and safe operation at all times
- Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and perform strenuous physical labor
- Frequent walking, standing, stooping, and climbing
- Daily driving with exposure to outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred but not required,
and
one year experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van,
or
any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid State Driver's License with CDL endorsement, if required.
