    Truck Driver (CDL) Department: DAF Facilities Environmental Advertised Salary Range: Part/Full Time: Full Time About UofSC From the Upstate to the Lowcountry, the University of South Carolina system is transforming the lives of South Carolinians through the impact of our eight institutions and 20 locations throughout the state.     Preferred Qualifications - High school diploma and five years driving with a CDL.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Good driving record, attention to detail, attendance and reliability. Safety minded. Initiative. Team work. Ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment and vehicles. - Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations applicable to equipment operation and waste hauling. - Considerable knowledge of the hazards of equipment operation and of appropriate safety precautions. Ability to keep written records.
