Job Summary:
The CDL Class B Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles in support of paving and construction operations. This position involves transporting asphalt, aggregate materials, equipment, and construction supplies to and from job sites, plants, and designated locations while ensuring compliance with all DOT and safety regulations. Drivers may operate tri-axle dump trucks, tandem dump trucks, water trucks, tack trucks, distributor trucks, and other Class B commercial vehicles used in paving operations. This role also supports field crews through timely deliveries, equipment care, and safe work practices.

Travel:
Position may require up to 100% travel by personal vehicle to project locations throughout the state of New York Massachusetts, and Vermont based on the needs of the business.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
This position works in an outdoor construction environment performing heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more with assistance as needed. The role regularly works on or near moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, live traffic, and in high noise environments. Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions.
This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time and regularly perform physical activities including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, balancing, driving, and repetitive motion. The ability to enter and exit commercial vehicles and equipment multiple times per shift is required. Employees must maintain sufficient vision, hearing, depth perception, and hand-eye coordination to safely operate commercial vehicles and work around active construction operations.
