We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to transport general freight locally using a standard tractor-trailer. The ideal candidate will operate daily routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining excellent communication with customers.
Responsibilities
Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips
Load cargo securely for transport
Plan and navigate local routes efficiently
Follow all safety regulations and compliance standards
Maintain accurate logbooks and driving records
Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report issues
Required Qualifications
CDL Class A license
At least 21 years of age
No criminal background
Preferred Qualifications
Entry-level commercial truck driving experience
Knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance
Strong route navigation and time management skills
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance
Effective communication abilities
