Ready to Put Your Class A CDL to Work?

Getting your first professional driving job can be challenging when you don't have OTR experience. We are looking for recent CDL school graduates who are ready to take the next step and begin their trucking careers.

Opportunities may be available in OTR, regional, dedicated, and select local operations, depending on your location and available freight.

Our structured paid training program gives new drivers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced driver, learn the day-to-day responsibilities of professional truck driving, and build the experience needed to move into a full-time driving position.

What You Can Expect During Training

New drivers participate in approximately 4 weeks of paid over-the-road training with an experienced professional driver trainer.

Your training will include:

• Hands-on experience with an experienced truck driver
• Real-world highway and professional driving experience
• Safety procedures and proper operating techniques
• Learning the responsibilities of an OTR driver
• Approximately 30 days on the road during the initial training period
• $650-$900 per week during training, depending on the hiring area

Important: Home time is generally not available during the first 30 days while you are completing your initial training. Certain dedicated or local operations will offer different home-time arrangements based on location and freight requirements.

• Hawaii
• Connecticut
• North Dakota
• South Dakota
• New Hampshire

Florida applicants: We are currently unable to hire drivers living south of an imaginary line extending from the Tampa Bay area east toward Cape Canaveral. Applicants who live north of that line may qualify.

Do You Meet the Requirements?

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Be 21 years of age or older
• Have a valid Class A CDL
• Have a current DOT Medical Card
• Have graduated from an accredited CDL training school
• Have completed at least 120 hours of CDL instruction
• CDL school training must have been completed within the past 24 months
• Successfully pass required DOT drug testing, which may include urine and/or hair testing
• Pass required background screening and employment verification
• Provide a complete driving history

What Happens After You Finish Training?

After successfully completing your initial training, you'll generally receive 2-5 days of home time (your choice) before meeting with driver management to discuss available positions.

Available opportunities depend on your location, qualifications, freight, and current openings.

Many entry-level drivers begin with an OTR position, with home time generally occurring approximately every 10-14 days. We also have plenty of regional and dedicated positions. In larger city's we have several local positions as well.

We define OTR as spending the night in your truck while operating in your home state plus at least three additional states. This allows you to gain valuable OTR experience while, in some cases, remaining within a more manageable geographic area.

Depending on where you live and current freight availability, you may also have access to:

• Regional driving
• Dedicated routes
• Select local positions

Local opportunities are generally concentrated around larger metropolitan areas.

Newer Equipment

You'll operate modern equipment designed with driver comfort and reliability in mind.

Our fleet consists primarily of late-model Freightliner tractors, and many units are equipped with automatic transmissions.

Earning Potential After Training

Once training is completed, many drivers earn approximately:

$1,200-$1,600+ Per Week. If you want to unload yourself, those positions start at $1600.00 and up per week.

Actual weekly earnings can vary depending on several factors, including:

• Freight division
• Route and account assignment
• Available miles
• Experience
• Individual performance
