Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for a Motivated and Positive individual to fill a Part-Time, CDL Class A semi, Union Truck Driver position at our Flint Warehouse at 501 S. Averill.
The starting union wage $25.00 an hour. Primary work days: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, with the opportunity for additional hours based on the company's needs.

LOCAL driving with these Day to Day Job Responsibilities:
+ Operating vehicles and other assigned equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
+ Making daily check of vehicle per DOT standards and complete proper paperwork for inspection.
+ Assist in loading and unloading materials in a proper safe and careful manner at the plant or outlying store and Attended Donation Center locations.
+ Placement of materials when unloading into designated container and/or department.
+ Maintaining and use of assigned cellular phone according to company guidelines (reporting to dispatcher/supervisor).
+ Reporting all unsafe conditions observed.
+ Greeting all donors in a friendly, courteous manner and provide receipts as needed.
+ Following route in designated order and reporting of any changes due to unforeseen circumstances.

Qualifications:
+ Ability and skills to operate straight trucks and 53 ft. semi-trailers.
+ High school diploma helpful.
+ Reading, writing and math skills are required.
+ Vocational Training – helpful.
+ Previous Training – required.
+ Must have valid Michigan Commercial Driver’s License with all endorsements required for vehicles assigned to drive.
+ Must be able to pass a Clearinghouse License reference check.
+ Good driving record with no more than four points per Michigan moving violation system.
+ Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
+ Ability to pass drug/alcohol test.
