Truck Driver II - Rolloff

We strive to create a workplace culture focused on safety, continuous improvement, and career growth.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for driving a company truck, such as a Lugger, Rolloff (2-6 axle), Hook Truck, Walking Floor, Flatbed or Super Single and switching trailers or containers at customer account locations. Also responsible for other driving assignments as directed by Dispatch. Actively participates and displays behaviors of the company values.Schedule:

Tuesday- Friday: 5:00 am- 5:00 pmSaturday: 12:30 am- 10:30 am

Responsibilities

Goes over the day's schedule and meets or exceeds daily runs and communicates exceptions with the dispatcherUnderstands department goals for efficiency and sets personal goals to meet or exceed the standards.Service customer locations, listens to and solves customer problems, and always maintains good customer relationsProvide outstanding customer service as a service representative for the companyPrepare shipping documents for all loads, weigh all loads and perform initial material inspectionsMaintain paperwork for scale tickets, shippers, logbooks and trip reportsComplete and submit necessary reports, such as accident damage and traffic violation reportsPerform daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspectionSubmit to random drug and alcohol testing as requiredInspect loads and tarp/secure loads when necessaryMaintain inside of truckEnters trip data into truck computer and be able to operate Nextel phonesModels behaviors as stated in Company ValuesBe cross trained in different trucks. (Truck Driver II)Uses good judgment and ensures a safe work environment, adheres to posted speed limitsAccountable for preventing and avoiding flat tiresCompletes scrap material ID sheetsOther duties as necessary

Qualifications

Two years' experience driving similar vehicles. (Truck Driver II)High school diplomaCDL Class A license required with no manual transmission restriction (E restriction)Must have a clean driving recordLift up to 75 lbs while chainingLegible handwritingStrong mathematical skillsAbility to work independently and be detailed orientedAbility to maintain logbooksMust be willing to work in an outdoor environment
