Truck Driver - Laundry (Horseshoe LV)

This is an hourly position requiring previous commercial driving experience that will be responsible for overseeing the transportation of products to casino resort properties and maintaining the vehicle fleet utilized for Caesars Entertainment's Regional Laundry Facility. This role has responsibility for operating commercial equipment with little direct oversight while maintaining high positivity in a fast-paced work environment.

• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English, with excellent customer service skills.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Ability to work with a telephone system/computer system.
• Requires attention to detail and the ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work; take initiative.
• Must be able to get along well with Team Members. Possess well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of shift and remain calm during emergency situations. Ability to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift.
• Ability to make good sound judgment decisions regarding employees. Must keep employee information confidential.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred)
• Class A driver license with a "T" endorsement.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing and walking and sitting for the duration of the shift, as well as bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and ascending/descending stairs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks under time constraints.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and push wheeled carts up to 900lbs.
• May use a step stool to reach high areas; must climb stairs and continuously balance, bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Must crouch, squat, push/pull, work overhead with both arms, and use hands for continuous grasping.
• Must tolerate required PPE (gloves, safety glasses/goggles, etc.) and safely operate motorized equipment.
• Ability to work in a factory production environment.
• Candidate will be responsible for driving semi-trucks with 1-2 attached trailers for deliveries within Las Vegas and Laughlin areas.
• Will load/unload deliveries of laundry bins in addition to the driving responsibilities.
• Will be expected to observe and practice all safety requirements of Department of Transportation and all other applicable regulating agencies.
• Shall use small hand tools to perform various small repairs to trailers used for transport.
• Needs to perform daily inspections of vehicles and trailers, immediately reporting any items of concern.
• Candidate should have basic functional understanding of vehicle maintenance
• Will use any necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Will be expected to meet fast paced productivity goals established at the laundry facility.
• Must be adept at navigating heavily congested traffic and finding the quickest routes to each destination.
• Candidate will be expected to work safely around high-volume commercial laundry equipment and will be expected to report any equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisory team members.
• Candidate will work with several hundred employees throughout the day and should display a positive attitude towards coworkers and communicate openly with facility leadership.
