Job Description

Jill Frisch & Freeze MiniMart is looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from our distribution center to our various store locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate company-owned trucks to transport goods from the distribution center to store locations

- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

- Load and unload goods onto the truck using proper equipment and techniques

- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods

- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including time of departure and arrival, mileage, and any issues encountered

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any maintenance or repair issues

- Communicate with dispatch and store managers to coordinate delivery schedules

- Follow all company policies and procedures, including proper handling and storage of goods

- Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver

- Clean driving record with no traffic violations

- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
