Truck Driver

Job Summary:

Truck Driver responsibilities include driving in a safe and efficient manner transporting company products from one location to another within South Carolina.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experience operating a box truck or larger vehicle.
• Must be able to follow all State driving requirements and follow traffic laws.
• Must have a good Motor Vehicle Record (3-year minimum MVR required).
• Transporting flags, fabric, non-hazardous materials.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical, CDL license preferred, but not required.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.

Education and Experience:

• Must be 21 years or older with at least 5 years of experience driving box truck or similar sized vehicle.
• Organized and able to pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to understand simple instructions and communicate with shipping personnel.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb into and out of box truck safely.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and/or eye exam.
• Must be able to see street signs, traffic and operate a commercial vehicle without trouble seeing.
• Able to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions required for this position.
