Position Explanation:

To service Granite Group customers with courteous, accurate and timely deliveries. To strive to maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse, ensuring that stock is put away in its proper location. Responsibilities include any one or a combination of duties in making deliveries to customers and other branches, as well as unloading, storing, marking, picking, packing, or loading products as may be directed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive Company trucks and comply with all existing company, local, state and Federal regulations.
  • Follow and complete the daily delivery schedule, completing multiple daily deliveries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Report product damage or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor or management staff.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly appearance in compliance with company dress code.
  • Observe all safety regulations and report any violations or accidents in a timely manner to the Warehouse Supervisor and the Branch Manager.
  • Complete required state and federal daily records.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification required.
  • You will need to get a DOT Med card which we will schedule and pay for

Soft Skills and Cultural Fit:

  • Ability to read a map and understand driving directions.
  • Ability to drive a large truck.
  • Friendly, pleasant, courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds and use material handling equipment to push, pull, maneuver heavier loads.
  • Ability to sit and drive for long periods of time.
  • Ability to comply with the current Substance and Alcohol Abuse testing programs.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience driving a truck.
  • Truck Driver/Delivery
