The Truck Loader loads bulk materials with moderate supervision and increased responsibility. This role includes documenting loads, troubleshooting minor issues, and assisting in quality control during the loading process.

- High school diploma and general education diploma (GED Required.
- High level of safety and quality.
- Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.).
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge - Preferred.
- Forklift experience - Preferred.
- Computer Software - Preferred.
- Warehouse experience - Preferred.
- Good attendance and adherence to U.S. Silica Core Values.
- Written/verbal communication, dexterity, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, time management, customer focus.
- Ability to read and interpret safety, operational, and maintenance manuals.
- Computer skills (PC, Word, Excel, UltiPro, JD Edwards, HMI, Outlook, Salesforce).
- Ability to perform physical labor tasks and work with minimal supervision.
- Conduct daily tasks, assign work, communicate with crew/customers, maintain safety, product quality, and housekeeping.
- Perform supervisory tasks: coordinate breaks, train new employees, troubleshoot systems, enforce policies, and ensure safety compliance.
- Lead crew in start-up, operation, and shutdown of equipment and facility systems.
- Operate truck loading/unloading systems and automated control programs; guide truck movement using signals.
- Perform maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and debris removal.
- Report facility status and bin levels to management; participate in daily safety briefings and thorough shift changeovers.
- Observe, report, and troubleshoot potential operational or safety hazards.
- Complete paperwork accurately and completely; check for paperwork accuracy.
