Trucking Manager

Trucking Managers are responsible for managing their supervisors, activities for all professional CDL A drivers, Dispatchers and Office staff. This position requires taking a proactive approach as a manager of people to maximize driver performance.

Responsibilities:

• Transportation Manager must prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and timely by responding to customer inquiries and issues as needed.
• Oversee all departments responsible for vehicle inspections, DOT compliance, Maintenance, Scheduling, Customer Service, and PM programs.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of FMCSA Regulations including Hours of Service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good Management Skill
• Ability to handle high levels of stress
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Computer Applications
• Ability to prioritize
• Completes tasks quickly with minimal mistakes
• Conflict Management Skills a Must
• Problem solving skills required
• Experience with ISO Tanks a plus
