Trucking Transportation Assistant Manager-Onsite in Miami, FL
Location: Miami, FL
Salary: $70,000/yr.

Required
4 +years of recent experience managing Transportation to include local drayage and long-haul trucking (FTL and LTL); 2+ years of supervisory experience.
Understanding of LTL classification and DOT driver hours regulations.
Experience with U.S. Transportation pricing bids.
Ability to establish operating processes and write standard operating procedures (SOP)
Intermediate computer skills in programs such as Excel and Outlook and at a basic level in MS Word.
Proven analytical and strategic thinking and planning skills; Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and fellow employees.
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure; Strong organization and time-management skills.
Ability to follow procedures and instructions as well as ability to work with limited supervision; Ability to prepare a variety of reports.
Ability to respond to common inquiries from departmental managers or subdivisions regarding inland move rates.
