Truss Assembly Associate
Location: St. George, UT Pay: $18.00$20.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule:
Day Shift: MondayFriday, 5:00 AM 3:30 PM
Occasional half-days on Saturdays as needed
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Truss Assembly Associates to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This position involves building and assembling wood trusses using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment. Candidates with experience in construction, framing, carpentry, concrete work, or general labor are encouraged to apply.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assemble wood trusses according to specifications and production schedules.
Read and interpret basic measurements, layouts, and work orders.
Use hand tools, power tools, nail guns, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
Move, stack, and organize materials throughout the production facility.
Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction, framing, carpentry, concrete work, manufacturing, or general labor preferred.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull building materials throughout the shift.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
Required Tools
Employees must provide their own:
25-ounce framing hammer
Tool belt
Basic hand tools
Tape measure
Pre-Employment Requirements
Must pass a 10-panel drug screen, including THC.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Comfortable working in a production and warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
