Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 7 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Duties

• Read and interpret building drawings, blueprints, and plans to determine truss specifications
• Select, prepare, and handle lumber and other materials for truss assembly
• Assemble roof and floor trusses using hand tools and power tools according to specifications
• Inspect completed trusses to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met
• Follow all safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Maintain accurate documentation of materials used, trusses built, and production issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in carpentry, truss building, construction, or a related manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious mindset
• Ability to stand for the duration of an entire shift and work effectively in a manufacturing environment

What You Will Do

As a Truss Builder you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
