Location: Menlo Park (fully in-office)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Duties
Draft and edit estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Filing legal documents with courts, ensuring compliance with local rules, and communicating with court personnel.
Perform data entry, filing, and general clerical duties to support daily office operations
Managing attorney's schedules, tracking deadlines for filing, and organizing meetings
Works alongside: all attorneys - the paralegal would start working just with the managing partner and the Menlo Park attorneys, but the matters that need to be supported are spread out among multiple offices in the Bay Area's locations. No travel is involved between offices.
The paralegal will be interacting with clients quite a bit and often will be the main point of contact for the client. They will be responsible for welcoming clients in the mornings (before 1:30), after 1:30 a coworker takes over this role.
