Trust and Estates Attorney – Estate Planning & Probate (4–10 Years Experience) | Illinois Bar Required

 We are seeking an experienced Trust and Estates Attorney to join our estate planning and probate practice in Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 4–7 years of trust and estate, estate planning, or probate experience to join a collaborative team, work directly with high-net-worth clients, and grow within a firm that offers a strong benefits package and a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4–7 years of experience in a trust and estates, estate planning, or probate law practice
• Active admission to the Illinois Bar (required)
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, research, and written/oral communication skills
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Demonstrated client relationship skills, including experience leading in-person and virtual client meetings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); SmokeBall case management experience a plus
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and tact
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining electronic and paper records and producing timely reports
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods
