We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Permanent Trust & Estates Attorney to join our esteemed legal firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of trust and estate matters, providing expert advice to our clients, and ensuring their assets are protected and transferred according to their wishes. This critical role requires a deep understanding of estate planning, estate administration, probate law, and the ability to navigate complex legal scenarios with discretion and professionalism.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of trust and estate matters, including estate planning, estate administration, probate law, and related tax issues.
2. Draft, review, and interpret legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and deeds.
3. Represent clients in probate court proceedings and manage all aspects of the estate and trust administration process.
4. Provide expert counsel on complex legal and financial issues related to estate planning and administration, including asset protection, wealth transfer strategies, and tax planning.
5. Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and client service, ensuring all client matters are handled with discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.
6. Stay abreast of current trends, laws, and regulations in the field of trust and estate law to provide the most up-to-date advice to our clients.
7. Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and staff within the firm, as well as with external professionals such as accountants and financial advisors.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 3-7 years of experience as a Trust & Estates Attorney, with a strong track record in estate planning, estate administration, probate law, and related tax issues.
4. Exceptional drafting skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to produce high-quality legal documents.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical, solution-oriented advice.
7. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
8. Proven ability to manage a large caseload, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of trust and estate law.
10. Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
