Trust Officer

Trust Officer | Michigan

Proposed salary range: $75,000–$105,000 annually, depending on experience

I’m connecting with Trust Officers in Michigan for opportunities with banks and financial institutions. If you enjoy helping clients and families navigate important decisions while managing fiduciary relationships with care, I’d like to hear from you.

What you’ll do

• Administer trust, estate, agency, and other fiduciary accounts in accordance with governing documents and applicable requirements.
• Build relationships with beneficiaries, families, attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors.
• Review account activity, evaluate distribution requests, and document decisions.
• Coordinate with investment, tax, legal, and operations partners to meet client needs.
• Identify opportunities to retain and grow trust relationships through referrals and professional networks.

What you’ll bring

• Direct experience in trust administration, estate administration, or managing fiduciary accounts.
• Ability to interpret trust documents and apply sound fiduciary judgment.
• Knowledge of estate planning concepts, trust operations, and relevant compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills, especially when handling sensitive family matters.
• CTFA, CFP, JD, CPA, or related credentials are a plus.
